1. Software Licensing
TERACONNEX software products are licensed, not sold. Each license grants you the right to install and use the software on the number of devices specified by your tier (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise).
- **One-time license**: You pay once for a perpetual license. There are no recurring subscription fees.
- **Per-device licensing**: Each license is tied to specific hardware via device fingerprinting. Additional devices require additional licenses.
- **License activation**: Software requires online activation via our licensing system. Once activated, the software works offline.
- **Non-transferable**: Licenses cannot be transferred to another person or entity without written consent from TERACONNEX.
2. Maintenance & Updates
Each license includes 12 months of software updates and bug fixes from the date of purchase.
- **Automatic updates**: During the active maintenance period, updates are delivered automatically.
- **Maintenance renewal**: After the initial 12 months, you may renew your maintenance plan annually to continue receiving updates.
- **Without maintenance**: Your software continues to work indefinitely. You simply will not receive new features or updates until you renew.
3. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our products:
- **No refunds** are provided after license activation and software installation.
- **Pre-purchase demos**: We offer free demonstrations of all products before purchase. We encourage you to schedule a demo to ensure the software meets your needs.
- **Defective software**: If the software fails to function as described and we are unable to resolve the issue within 30 days, a full refund will be provided.
4. Support
Support is provided based on your license tier:

- **Enterprise tier**: Priority support with faster response times.
- **Remote installation**: We provide remote installation and setup for all products at no additional cost.

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
- Circumvent or attempt to bypass the licensing system.
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the software.
- Use the software for any illegal purpose.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the software.
6. Data & Privacy
Our software operates with a server-first architecture with local database fallback:
- **Your data stays on your server**: All business data is stored on your local server or PC. We do not have access to your business data.
- **Licensing telemetry**: The software communicates with our licensing server for activation and update checks only. No business data is transmitted.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- TERACONNEX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software license.
- We are not liable for data loss resulting from hardware failure, user error, or circumstances beyond our control.
- We recommend maintaining regular backups of your data.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Algiers, Algeria.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
